Zen, Mediterranean, Cathedral — three words with a clear sense of how the home should feel. That was the brief for this home situated in Noosa's Little Cove, moments from the National Park and World Surfing Reserve. Talltech was engaged to bring that feeling into daily life through a smart home system built around health, wellness and the body's natural circadian rhythm, rather than technology for its own sake. For two health-focused influencers and their family, the home needed to support how they live, sleep and perform each day — while presenting beautifully on camera in every moment captured. Lighting became the centrepiece, a Control4 platform aligning artificial light with the body's circadian rhythm, shaping mood, energy and rest throughout the day. The approach became the foundation for Talltech's Circadian Lighting offering, now delivered to homes across Australia.
The home's Zen, Mediterranean, Cathedral design philosophy extends into the landscape, where integrated lighting subtly enhances both architecture and planting.
A Control4-based platform unifies lighting, automation and key home functions into a seamless, intuitive system.
Automation scenes were built around daily routines and wellness outcomes, from energising mornings to calm, restorative evenings, reducing the need for manual control.
Lighting is thoughtfully integrated throughout the property, creating a cohesive experience across both indoor and outdoor spaces.
As both a home and a content creation space, lighting needed to be equally functional and visually beautiful — Talltech treated lighting as a core feature of the design, not an addition to it.
Abundant natural light was a defining feature of the home. Talltech worked to align artificial lighting with natural daylight patterns, supporting the body’s circadian rhythm throughout the day.
